Emma: When you're older, you'll find that will be a gift

i speak of those at the back of my throat!
for as long as i can remember, i have been prone to all things sore throat and every year i am debilitated to a state of useless existence. i once had the opportunity to get rid of my tonsils but had the rare (not to mention exciting!) dilemma of choosing between a wisdom tooth extraction or a tonsilectomy. how many people on this planet get the luxury of creating their very own priority list of surgeries? at least this gives me time to catch up on vegging. it's been awhile since i've been so out of touch with tv-land that i've resorted to downloading all my missed episodes and then disposing of them shortly after. turns out i don't even have the hard drive space. i am just about at my 3-yr mark to buy a new computer but have vowed to hold out for a mac. i'm such an on-the-fence bandwagon gal when it comes to gadgets (and surgeries).
