the recent destruction in japan has changed the world. i feel i can't complain about anything when there are real tragedies in this world. forget that my favorite boots are broken or that i can't seem to focus enough to take another licensing exam...there are real problems on this planet. it's just ridiculous that my iphone case needs to be replaced and my toes are too cold at the moment...when people are agonizing about life-changing decisions and their lives hang on a thread. i remember when i thought my life was the receiver of all things unfair and i could only deserve good. the way i see it, the man upstairs has done me well. he spared me despair, gave me clarity, and even distracted me to prevent me from further stupidity. really, it's great that i can rant about all this, when the rest of the world could use a save.
