i'm a sensitive guambat...while i do love home and all the good stuff about it that floats around in this universe, i am offended when lazy writing and false advertising incite shenanigans.
not that this article does not merit any attention, but i am utterly bored at the list of suggestions that the bbc-reading world will be inspired by. Guam is far beyond a few plates of memorable food and cliche tourist spots.
however, i am grateful that, for once, this one didn't turnout to be an long-winded commentary about our people's borrowed cultural identity, lack of living traditions, fascination with trendy american gentrification, or the toils of centuries of colonization.
the most genuine truth about guam is the article's title. of all the places you probably wouldn't visit - it would be too good to ignore.
