since April when I last wrote my world has once again been turned on its head. I was promoted to some important role at work and my job has taken on a whole new set of challenges and expectations...all of which I can handle. But I think about why i took the job of an architect for the navy here on Guam: to focus on my licensing and have less on-the-job pressures at work. this changed everything: deadlines, numbers, meetings with people in command, and a billion dollars of planning all on my plate. well the transition has simmered and I've been able to exceed expectations thus far. i can finally breathe.
