i barely even noticed that tonight's episode would be a season opener and how very presumptuous of them to do so on the largest viewing day of the year...because them football fans love their glee. i see it as nothing more than a gimmick. i am, again, feeling an incessant need to rant because i'd like to ask the universe, where has this show gone?
i'm only this bitter because i fell in love with glee at their pilot episode...a bunch of loserlies being made by music. when we think of certain moments in our lives, we reconnect instantly through music. this common thread is what drew me ...along with the notion that high school never ends!! yet they muck it all up with forced after-school-special themes, redundant conflicts, out-of-character plot developments, and gimmicks, gimmicks, gimmicks. please, show, bring back the continuity so that i won't stop believing.
