yay for me because this bug is about 90% gone and it's only at 90% because i'm still finishing the last of my medication and coughing with the slight reminiscence of a wheezing dog's bark.
but more yay because last week while away and on the brink of near death (sure felt like it!) i was informed that i am being nominated for EOQ, Employee of the Quarter. this is one of those corporate vessels that i don't really condone but hey something's better than nothing. it almost makes those two weekends bringing work home around the holidays to meet those damn deadlines worth it.
on a different yay note, this past weekend was a hit birthday celebration for james...tapas at the sea grill overlooking the bright lights of san vitores road and then a full sunday at the beach with awesome food and overflowing drinks was great for those unlike me who weren't still trying to damage control with their cough.
and finally a yay that there is a glimmer of good tv that came back this week. showtime's big love returned with an ever-eventful opener and himym came back from the ashes of repeat plot lines and finally gave us a little something about "the mother" and the best of all...barney and the gang singing in suits about how awesome suits are. glee will be off the radar until april so this means i can record modern family and cougartown with ease...more laughs for me :)
